The scissors are very sharp and work precisely. Due to its wavy shape, the Borneo Wild Wave Cutter is eminently suited for trimming of foreground plants in the aquarium. Small carpet- and lawn-forming plants such as Glossostigma or Hemianthus callitrichoides are cut effortlessly, building an attractive, even lawn, also in the corners and edges of the tank. With normal, straight scissors this would be very difficult.
