Looks much nicer than a mesh guard and does what it's supposed to do. Easy to clean.

Optisch deutlich schöner als ein Meshguard und macht auch was es soll. Lässt sich leicht reinigen.

Unfortunately, I can only strongly advise against this product. The intention behind buying it is to protect your smallest darlings, but it does exactly the opposite. (read more)

Gefährliche Fehlkonstruktion!
Von diesem Produkt kann ich leider nur dringend abraten. Kaufintention ist, seine kleinsten Lieblinge zu schützen aber es bewirkt genau das Gegenteil. Vermutlich durch die konische Form der Löscher und die zu geringe Anzahl, werden kleine bzw junge Garnelen hier festgesaugt und verenden dann elendig. Ebenso kleine Schnecken (Weichgewebe festgesaugt bis Panzer blockiert) und Futtertiere (Flohkrebse) werden von diesem Ansaug"schutz" verletzt oder getötet. Es bewirkt also, was man vermeiden möchte. Leider nicht das erste Produkt dieser Firma, dessen kauf ich bitter bereue bzw bei dem ich mich habe blenden lasse.
Aus meiner Erfahrung mit vielen verschiedenen getesteten Ansaugschutzprodukten, kann ich eigentlich nur den "Stainless Steel Filter Guard" hier bedenkenlos empfehlen. Seit über einem Jahr kein einziges Jungtier im Filter mehr gefunden, große Oberfläche bzw. gutes Oberflächen/Loch Verhältnis, dadurch konstante Durchlässigkeit, kein Tier bleibt hängen, gut zu reinigen etc. Nicht ganz so hübsch wie der Neo aber deutlich hübscher und effektiver als Mesh.
