The optimal filtration for your aquarium
Filtration is not only a very important topic for aquariums in general; the filter also plays a special role in a planted aquarium or aquascape. In aquascaping in particular, the way the filter equipment is presented visually also differs from a classic aquarium.
Visible filter hoses and the filter inlet and outlet are often replaced with transparent tubing and beautifully designed Lily Pipes made of glass or stainless steel. In an aquarium with shrimp in particular, filter guards prevent their offspring and other small aquarium inhabitants from being sucked into the filter. Skimmers or filter inlets with surface extraction ensure a crystal-clear water surface and remove the surface film in an aquarium.
