Description
Years in development, ARKA - Substrate Cleaner speeds the biological breakdown of slow to degrade organic waste matter from aquarium bottoms that may become toxic to fish and plant life.
As organic solids accumulate on the aquarium bottom they begin to break down, releasing toxic gases and by -products to the surrounding environment. These gaseous by-products endanger fish, marine life, and plants.
ARKA - Substrate Cleaner biologically degrades bottom organic sludge and muck with minimal disturbance, reducing or eliminating the potential harmful gaseous compounds, and helps to clarify your aquarium water at the same time.
ARKA - Substrate Cleaner contains natural cellulosic matter, select biological accelerators and special microbes proven effective in aquarium sludge reduction.
ARKA - Substrate Cleaner will also help to clarify dirty aquarium water.
Recommended for use with all ARKA bacteria and enzyme products.

Note
Substrate Cleaner has a certain sulphur smell which, however, vanishes right after dosage. Moreover, this product is black in color and may tint your aquarium water slightly. Do not be concerned. The active ingredient is a natural product and will help clarify the water as well as digest organics in the aquarium.

I can't say much about the breakdown of detritus, because that wasn't a problem for me. I had cyanobacteria in the ground cover plants at the front, and I used this product... (read more)

Top Produkt!
Ich kann nicht viel über den Abbau vom Mulm sagen, denn das war bei mir nicht das Problem. Ich hatte vorne im Bodendecker Cyanobakterien und genau gegen diese habe ich dieses Produkt erfolgreich eingesetzt. Kann es allen nur empfehlen.
Does exactly what it's supposed to. That doesn't mean, though, that you'll never have to vacuum up detritus again. I would still keep doing that regardless. (read more)

Absolut top
Tut genau das was es soll. D.h. aber nicht, das ihr nie wieder mulm absaugen müsst. Das würde ich trotz allem weiterhin machen. Hier gehts wirklich nur um Schwebeteilchen die durch euer Becken wirbeln und einfach nicht vom Filter erfasst werden wollen.
Alternativ dazu einfach einen vernünftigen Bodengrundaufbau schaffen, dann kommts gar nicht erst zu Schwebeteilchen.
Also erst Ursachenforschung betreiben und manuell abstellen.
Als Notlösung dann zur Flasche greifen.

Microbe-Lift Produkte sollen sehr gut sein.
Wie die Überschrift sagt. Ich habe einige Produkte von denen und finde es interessant. Biologisch gefiltertes reines, klares Wasser ist wichtig nicht nur für Fische, sondern auch für Pflanzen. Wenn das Wasser schlecht wird, Bakterienblüten, Trübungen können auch ( eventuell wertvolle) Pflanzen eingehen. Deshalb finde ich es wichtig, auf die Biologie zu achten und zu Pflegen. Extrem klares Wasser ist ein gutes Ergebnis dabei.
