Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 120 Liters - Shrimp - Colorful - No. 02 creates a harmonious underwater landscape that radiates calm and a natural feel through balanced shapes and colors. The set includes Microsorum pteropus 'Trident', Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Hygrophila corymbosa, Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" and Aegagropila linnaei. The combination of differently structured stem plants and epiphytes creates a lively, natural impression. The moss balls complete the set as living decoration and offer shrimp additional grazing areas.
This set is aimed at people who already have some experience in the aquarium hobby. The selected plants need medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2–3× per week. The plants benefit from a regular supply of nutrients and stable water parameters.
Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' is a variety of Java fern with finely divided leaves that grow elegantly from the rhizomes. It prefers low to medium light, grows slowly and is ideal for the midground, where its delicate structure brings a natural feel to the layout.
Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" is a particularly compact form of the broad-leaved giant hygrophila that forms dense groups with small, roundish leaves. It grows evenly in medium light and stays low in the midground, which makes it an excellent structural plant.
Hygrophila corymbosa has larger, strong leaves and grows briskly when sufficient light and nutrients are available. With its light green color, it provides clear contrasts in the background and stabilizes the ecological balance thanks to its fast growth.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' stands out with its light pink leaf veins, which show clearly especially under good lighting. It grows very quickly, is ideally suited for the background and, thanks to its tireless growth, is an ideal nutrient consumer.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" brings intense red tones to the layout and provides lively accents between the green plants. It grows upright, prefers medium to strong light and benefits from CO2 supplementation, but also stays vigorous under moderate lighting.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. It gives the layout a soft, organic touch and offers shrimp additional grazing areas. The result is a balanced, colorful planted look.
