Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 250 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 06 was put together especially for medium-sized aquariums to create a harmonious, natural underwater layout with easy-to-care-for and hardy species. The set includes Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Bucephalandra sp. "Theia", Staurogyne repens, Echinodorus 'Hadi Red Pearl', Limnophila sessiliflora, Hygrophila corymbosa, Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" and Ludwigia "Rubin". This combination brings together different growth heights, leaf shapes and colors to create a balanced, long-lasting planted look that gives aquariums a natural, lively atmosphere.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a tiny, slow-growing variety of the dwarf anubias. It has very compact, dark green leaves on short stalks and forms dense cushions over time. This epiphyte thrives excellently even in low light and is perfect for attaching to roots or stones in the foreground.
Bucephalandra sp. "Theia" is a decorative epiphyte with narrow, slightly wavy leaves. It grows slowly, prefers medium lighting and, under good conditions, develops a subtle sheen on its leaves. Thanks to its hardy nature, it is ideal for natural layouts and hardscape designs.
Staurogyne repens is a compact, light green foreground plant from South America. It grows creeping, forms dense, flat cushions and is ideal for greening open areas or transitions between hardscape elements. With regular trimming, it keeps its shape and contributes to a well-groomed overall look.
Echinodorus 'Hadi Red Pearl' is a small, richly colored rosette plant with red to bronze leaves. It grows compactly, stays low and is ideally suited for the middle to rear areas of the aquarium. Its warm color creates harmonious contrasts in combination with green species.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a fast-growing, finely pinnate stem plant from Southeast Asia. It thrives even under simple conditions and, thanks to its rapid growth, helps absorb excess nutrients and prevent algae. Its light green, delicate appearance brings lightness and dynamism to the aquarium.
Hygrophila corymbosa is a vigorous stem plant with large, broad leaves and upright growth. It grows quickly, tolerates different water parameters and forms a stable, dense structure in the background. With its lush growth, it is a classic for richly planted layouts.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" impresses with intensely red, small leaves and bushy growth. Even under medium lighting, it shows strong coloration and forms appealing color contrasts to green species. It is easy to make denser by trimming and stays healthy even with regular pruning.
Ludwigia "Rubin" is one of the most richly colored aquarium plants, with strong wine-red leaves. It forms upright shoots, branches evenly and shows good resilience even under fluctuating conditions. With its warm, deep red coloration, it forms an impressive focal point in the background.
The result is a carefully curated plant set that impresses with its harmonious composition, high adaptability and strong colors.
