The Aquarium Plant Set - 250 Liters - Colorful - Medium - No. 03 was developed especially for large aquariums to create an expressive and harmonious underwater landscape with high-contrast, colorful accents. The set includes Eleocharis sp. ‘Mini’, Hydrocotyle tripartita, Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green", Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Alternanthera reineckii ‘Mini’, Cyperus helferi, Hygrophila polysperma ‘Rosanervig’ and Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red". The combination of plants of different heights, with strong structures and varied colors creates depth and dynamism in the layout and gives the aquarium a lively, natural atmosphere.
This set is aimed at people who already have some experience in the aquarium hobby. The selected plants need medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2-3x/week. The plants benefit from a regular supply of nutrients and stable water parameters.
Eleocharis sp. 'Mini' is a compact-growing dwarf hairgrass whose fine, light green blades form a dense lawn-like carpet. It is ideal as a carpeting plant in the foreground and grows particularly evenly with good light and CO2 supplementation.
Hydrocotyle tripartita is a small-leaved pennywort with three-lobed, clover-like leaves. It grows creeping, forms dense cushions and adds fresh shades of green to the foreground to midground.
Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green" is a slow-growing epiphyte from the island of Borneo. Its dark to light green leaves with a silvery sheen look particularly decorative on wood or rock and add structure.
Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" stays exceptionally low thanks to its stocky growth and small leaves. It is particularly suitable for the midground and impresses with easy care and a rich green color when well supplied with nutrients.
Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini' is a richly colored parrot leaf variety with red-violet leaves. It grows compactly and slowly, sets strong color accents and forms dense bushes in the foreground or midground.
Cyperus helferi is a delicate, impressive stem plant whose long, ribbon-like leaves move in the current. It gives the aquarium height and a gentle dynamic and looks particularly good as a solitary plant in the background. With sufficient light and nutrients, it develops dense, elegant-looking clumps.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is characterized by light-veined, pink leaves. It is very robust, grows quickly and is ideal for creating contrast and fullness in the midground to background.
Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red" is a strong red stem plant that sets intense color accents with its bushy shoots. Under strong light and with CO2, it develops bright red leaves and forms harmonious color contrasts to green species. The result is a balanced, richly colored plant layout that combines depth, structure and natural harmony.
