Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Algae Control - Green - Easy - No. 03 was designed especially for smaller aquariums in which balanced plant growth is meant to contribute to natural algae control. The set includes Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus", Cardamine lyrata, Staurogyne repens, Hemianthus glomeratus, Rotala rotundifolia and Lindernia rotundifolia "Variegated". The selected species complement each other in growth form and color and create a harmonious overall picture with a clear sense of depth. This set offers a varied mix of fast-growing and decorative species that together promote the biological balance in the aquarium.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus" forms dense, bright light green lawn carpets and spreads quickly via runners. This species is particularly suitable for the foreground and, with its fast growth, helps prevent algae. It prefers medium lighting and a regular supply of nutrients. Cardamine lyrata impresses with its roundish, delicate leaves and grows creeping to upright. It tolerates cool water temperatures and forms dense stands when sufficiently supplied with nutrients. Ideal for the midground, where it adds structure and a natural feel. Staurogyne repens is a compact, light green plant that forms dense bushes in the foreground. Thanks to its stable, creeping growth, it can be placed in many ways and is easy to care for. Plenty of light and moderate CO2 supplementation promote growth. Hemianthus glomeratus shows fine, light green leaves and an elegant, bushy structure. It thrives best under strong lighting and is suitable for both the midground and the background. Its delicate texture creates lively depth in the layout. Rotala rotundifolia is a classic among aquarium plants. As the light intensity increases, the leaves turn reddish, creating color accents. It is easy to care for and grows evenly, making it ideal for harmonious background planting. Lindernia rotundifolia "Variegated" creates decorative contrasts with its white and green striped leaves. It grows upright and branches into dense bushes under strong light. This plant is robust and, thanks to its faster growth, helps bind nutrients from the water and thus prevent algae. The result is a natural-looking, stable planted aquarium in which the selected species work together harmoniously and create a healthy balance.
