Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 01 is a carefully curated plant set of 5 potted plants and 3 moss balls that makes it easy to design small aquariums in an uncomplicated and colorful way. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai', Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii", Hemianthus glomeratus, Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The combination of green, reddish and fine-leaved species creates a lively appearance with natural color contrasts. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and bring additional structure and a natural look to the substrate.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive minor care mistakes. The fast-growing Hemianthus glomeratus also helps to build up a lot of plant mass and thus a stable biological balance.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact variety of the cardinal flower with smaller, rounder leaves that forms dense cushions. It prefers low to medium light and grows slowly, which makes it ideal for the foreground.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' is an extremely small-growing form of the popular Anubias and impresses with its robustness and adaptability. It grows slowly, needs hardly any care and can easily be tied onto roots or stones.
Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii" adds structure to the midground with its narrow, lanceolate leaves. It is easy to care for, prefers low light and grows at a moderate pace, which also makes it suitable for shady areas.
Hemianthus glomeratus is a fast-growing, light green stem plant that impresses with its dense growth and delicate leaf structure. It absorbs nutrients effectively and thus helps prevent algae growth. Regular trimming promotes bushy growth.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" provides an eye-catching splash of color with its intensely red leaves. It prefers medium light and balanced fertilization, but also shows beautiful red coloration in low light.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a harmoniously structured, easy-care and colorful planted aquarium that is easy to create.
