Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 10 was put together especially for smaller aquariums to create a varied and colorful underwater landscape. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Bucephalandra sp. "Kedagang", Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii", Bacopa monnieri 'Compact' and Ludwigia palustris "Super Red". The combination of green, compact and reddish species provides different growth heights, textures and colors, creating a harmonious and lively overall picture.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact form of the well-known cardinal flower with small, roundish leaves. It grows densely, stays low and is ideally suited for the foreground of small aquariums. With its bright green coloration, it adds structure to the layout.
Bucephalandra sp. "Kedagang" is a small epiphyte with dark green to brownish leaves and a fine leaf texture. It grows slowly, forms dense cushions on stones or roots and shows its characteristic shimmering surface in medium light with a stable nutrient supply. The plant is undemanding and its texture adds natural accents to the midground.
Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" stays low and forms small bushes thanks to its stocky growth. It is ideal for the midground and grows slowly but steadily under medium lighting. Regular trimming promotes a compact appearance and strong side shoots.
Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii" is a robust rosette plant that propagates via underground runners. Its leaves show a fresh green that can turn slightly reddish depending on the lighting conditions, and it grows reliably even under low lighting. This species is particularly well suited for the midground, where its compact growth forms dense groups and visually ties the layout together.
Bacopa monnieri 'Compact' is a more compact variety of water hyssop with firmer, densely arranged leaves. It grows upright to slightly creeping and stays particularly low under good lighting. This versatile species is easy to care for and its light green color contributes to a fresh overall impression.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" creates a strong color contrast to the green species in the set with its intense red leaves. It grows quickly, is easy to shape by trimming and is particularly well suited for the background of small tanks. With sufficient lighting, it shows its full color intensity and emphasizes the depth of the aquarium. The result is a harmoniously coordinated plant set that impresses with strong colors, different growth forms and a lively look.
