Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Green - Medium - No. 05 offers a balanced selection of proven species in harmonious colors for a natural-looking layout. The set includes Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3"), Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea', Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini' as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The combination creates a varied interplay of different leaf shapes, growth heights and shades of green. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and also bring a soft, organic structure to the layout.
This set is aimed at hobbyists who already have some experience in aquarium keeping. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2-3x/week. The plants benefit from a regular nutrient supply and stable water parameters.
Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3") is a popular carpeting plant that forms dense, rich green carpets in the foreground. With medium lighting and added CO2 it grows compactly and evenly and is easy to keep in shape. Thanks to its low, creeping growth it is ideally suited for nano and aquascaping tanks and creates a calm, closed ground cover.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a particularly small-growing variety with very compact growth and firm, dark green leaves. It grows slowly and should be tied onto roots or stones, as the rhizome must not be planted in the substrate. Thanks to its robustness and decorative appearance it is ideal for hardscape details in the midground.
Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" impresses with its stocky growth and rich green leaves. It grows evenly under medium lighting and forms compact, bushy groups in the background. Regular trimming promotes denser branching and ensures a stable structure in the layout.
Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea' brings bright contrasts to the aquarium with its rounded, yellow-green leaves. With sufficient lighting it shows its intense coloration and grows quickly into the midground. Its growth is easy to control with targeted trimming, so it sets vibrant color accents without dominating the layout.
Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini' is a compact, red-green stem plant that provides depth and dynamic color. It benefits from medium light and a CO2 supply to develop its strong coloration. As an eye-catcher in the midground or background it adds structure and an exciting color contrast to the overall picture.
Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. Its spherical growth form creates soft, natural accents between stones and plants. The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei is easy to care for and contributes to a harmonious, balanced overall impression.
