Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 10 was developed to give beginners a colorful, harmoniously planted aquarium. It includes Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii", Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown", Bacopa caroliniana, Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" and Ludwigia "Rubin". The combination provides a balanced color contrast of green and red plants and is ideal for 60-liter aquariums.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a particularly small variety with very compact growth and firm, dark green leaves. It grows slowly and should be tied onto roots or stones, as the rhizome must not be planted in the substrate. Thanks to its robustness and decorative appearance, it is ideal for hardscape details in the midground.
Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii" is an easy-to-care-for, runner-forming rosette plant that develops medium green to slightly reddish leaves. It grows moderately, tolerates a wide range of water parameters and light intensities and also copes well with little CO2. In the aquarium, it forms dense groups over time and is ideal for the midground.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown" is a tried-and-tested aquarium plant with brown leaves that are wavy at the edges. It is robust, easy to cultivate and grows reliably even under medium lighting. This plant brings natural earth tones to the midground and is particularly suitable for classic layouts.
Bacopa caroliniana originates from North America and grows as an upright stem plant with dense, light green to copper-colored leaves. It is easy to care for, grows moderately fast and also copes well without CO2. Under strong lighting, it develops an attractive reddish sheen and provides structure and contrast in the background.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" is a fast-growing stem plant that shows intense red coloration even in medium light. It is uncomplicated to care for, branches well and adds lively accents to the tank with its strong color. Regular trimming promotes bushy growth and dense groups in the background.
Ludwigia "Rubin" is one of the most richly colored aquarium plants and develops deep wine-red leaves underwater. It grows reliably, is easy to care for and also copes well with medium lighting. Thanks to its growth form and warm red tone, it brings subtle, natural color accents to the background. The result is a colorful, harmonious plant layout that impresses with robust species.
