Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 07 was put together to create harmonious, easy-care planting. The set includes Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green', Cryptocoryne wendtii 'brown', Limnophila sessiliflora, Hygrophila polysperma as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The combination of robust rosette and stem plants creates a natural look and stable water parameters. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a particularly small-growing selection of the dwarf Anubias, also known as “Mini Mini”. Its ovate leaves reach a length of only about 1–2 cm and are characterized by a bright green color and firm structure. This extremely robust plant thrives even in low light and without added CO2, making it perfect for nano and beginner tanks.
Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green' is a proven, easy-care rosette plant with medium green, lanceolate leaves. It grows compactly and forms dense groups that give structure to the midground of an aquarium. This plant copes excellently with low lighting and different water parameters.
Cryptocoryne wendtii 'brown' captivates with its characteristic brown, slightly wavy leaves and offers an attractive color contrast to green plants. Underwater it develops sturdy, lanceolate leaves that show different shades of brown depending on the light conditions. Like other Cryptocorynes, it is easy to care for and adapts easily to different water conditions.
Limnophila sessiliflora is one of the classic, fast-growing aquarium plants from Southeast Asia. Its finely feathered, light green shoots grow quickly toward the water surface and give the aquarium a soft, natural depth. It is extremely undemanding, contributes to algae prevention through its nutrient uptake and shows slightly reddish shoot tips under good lighting.
Hygrophila polysperma thrives under almost all conditions. The shoots reach a height of 25 to 40 cm and, with their elongated, light green leaves, form lively background growth. It grows very quickly, absorbs excess nutrients and thus contributes significantly to the biological stability of the aquarium.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a balanced, natural-looking plant set for beginners and fans of easy-care aquariums.
