Hello team! Does the temperature stay saved? I switch the filtration off overnight, and with it the heater!

The Chihiros Heater Pro returns to the preset temperature after a restart. However, we don't recommend switching the filter off overnight, because the important filter bacteria then die off from the lack of flow.

Hello dear support team, what does the minimum flow per minute need to be? In my case it would be approx. 2.5 liters per minute. Does that work, or does the dry-run protection already kick in?

A flow of approx. 2.5 liters per minute (so around 150 l/h) is sufficient. The dry-run protection only responds if no water or clearly too little water arrives (e.g., due to a blockage, air in the system, or a pump running dry).

Hello, my Heater Pro keeps showing error EE3. I bought and installed it 3 days ago and it has shown this since the first run.

The following error codes give hints about possible operating or device problems: EE1 – High temperature Check the temperature and water flow in the aquarium. EE2 – Sensor error In this case, please contact our customer service by email at huhu@aquasabi.de. EE3 – Insufficient heating power Please check whether the heater is being operated correctly and whether there is proper water flow (no dry running!). If the temperature stays below the set point, feel free to contact our customer service by email at huhu@aquasabi.de as well. EE4 – No-water alarm Check the connections of the water tubing and make sure the water flows smoothly.

Hi, can the Chihiros Heater Pro also be installed horizontally?

The heater must be installed vertically so that the sensors are completely surrounded by water, which the protective mechanisms such as dry-run protection and overheating control rely on.

Could the heater also be mounted in the filter inflow? In practice the water would then run into the heater from above.

No, installation in the filter inflow is not possible. The heater is mounted before the filter outlet.

Description

The Chihiros Heater Pro is an external, adjustable aquarium heater with app control, providing precise and safe temperature regulation. With a flexible power range of 10 to 1000 watts, this device is suitable for aquariums ranging from 30 to 180 cm in size. The temperature can be precisely adjusted between 10°C and 35°C via the My Chihiros app.

The smart technology of the heater automatically adjusts the heating power, ensuring energy-efficient regulation. Integrated overheating and dry-run protection provide maximum safety for the aquarium. A digital display shows the current temperature, the set target temperature, and the current heating power.

The heater is installed externally, meaning no heating element is visible inside the aquarium. This ensures a clean look and even water heating within the filtration cycle.

The description says 10-35C. Does that mean the device can also cool and not just heat?

The figures refer to the adjustable temperature range for the heating function. There is no cooling function. The low temperature settings are intended for tanks in cool rooms, such as a basement, to reach a minimum temperature for the tanks.

Hello, can the heater stay switched on when the filter is briefly turned off? E.g. during a feeding break or when cleaning the pre-filter.

Gutes Produkt!

This is my second Chihiros product and it again works excellently. With a competing product from a German company, I simply couldn't get the tank to the desired temperature. (read more)

Topp!
