Is this the 10th version?

The light is not the 10th Anniversary Edition.

Is the Chihiros LED System Series WRGB II the 10th edition?

The light is the regular edition (Germany Edition), not the 10th Edition.

Does the light have a guarantee or warranty? If so, how many years?

The light has a warranty of 24 months after receipt. If you have any problems with the light during this period, please feel free to contact our support at info@aquasabi.de.

How long is the warranty? And where can I send it in if it has a defect?

We provide a statutory warranty of 24 months after receipt of the goods. If you have any problems with the light during this period, please feel free to contact our support at info@aquasabi.de.

Is the lumen figure of 8000 lumens for the 90 cm version correct? On all other sites it says only 6200 lumens.

The figure is correct. It is also stated in the instructions for use and the energy label: https://www.aquasabi.de/cdn/chihiros/Bedienungsanleitung_WRGB2_DE_EN.pdf

Is the WRGB II from Chihiros waterproof as seen on YouTube or not, and can it be installed in an aquarium cover from Tetra or not? And if not, why? Best regards

The light is protected against splashing water according to IP43. However, it cannot be used under an aquarium cover. The light is expressly suitable only for open aquariums.

Is the light also suitable for an aquarium that is 45 cm deep?

The choice of lighting always depends heavily on the design, the plants and the other tank dimensions. Using the LED is generally possible with a tank depth of 45 cm as well.

Chihiros WRGB 2: which Commander do I need?

The light already has a built-in Commander from the factory, but if needed it can also be found here: https://www.aquasabi.de/Chihiros-Bluetooth-Controller-WRGBII

The 60 cm version would be perfect for me. My tank is 60 cm long. However, I wonder how this light with its mount is supposed to fit, since an extra cm or so gets added. If I take the 45 version, the sides stay shady.

The Chihiros LED System Series WRGB II 60 is suitable for aquarium dimensions of 60-80 cm.

My tank is 60 cm deep. Is the light suitable for it?

The WRGB II can definitely be used for a tank that is 60 cm deep. However, you need to be careful when planting ground cover plants. With very demanding ground cover plants, the light coverage near the bottom may not be sufficient.

Can I also use this light if my aquarium has a cover? I have the Oase StyleLine.

The WRGB II is not suitable for operation under an aquarium cover and is placed on the tank rim with the mounts.

Description

The WRGB II by Chihiros is an LED system series, which serves the complete colour range of aquatic plants with its optimised design of differently coloured LEDs. It is particularly suitable for densely planted tanks and plants that need intense light. The WRGB II makes red, green and blue colours shine especially vividly. At a relatively low power consumption, the different variations illuminate the complete tank with a high radiation angle and suite aquarium sizes from 30 to 140 cm length.

The light-system is programmed via the "My Chihiros APP" directly and does not need an additional commander, which makes a notable difference to the LED series WRGB I. The app offers individual control over the three colour channels "R" (red), "G" (green) and "B" (blue), as well as individually programmable daily phases. Sunrise and sunset can be imitated, too. There is no need for an external timer because all schedules can be saved as desired.

Should an instruction manual be included in the scope of delivery? Unfortunately I couldn't find one, and there is no reference to an online manual either. Installing the light and setting up the app would probably be a lot easier with instructions.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide a manual. However, here you will find the Chihiros YouTube account with helpful videos, and they also explain the installation and operation of the My Chihiros app: https://www.youtube.com/@ChihirosAquaticStudio
