Description
Strictly speaking, cholla is not wood but the skeleton of the cereus cactus. Due to its natural and unique structure, it serves as a brilliant hideout and an optimal retreat for all invertebrates. It is free from chemicals and pesticides and is also very rich in potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Over time, a microbial biofilm develops. Therefore, shrimps and crayfish not only like to hide inside the cholla wood but also graze its surface intensively. The cholla wood is hollow and sinks quickly to the bottom. In addition, it can be colonized by ferns, mosses, or algae, making it even more decorative.
This cholla wood is 15 cm long and available in three different diameters.

Note
Cholla wood contains tannins that may cause discoloration of the water. To avoid this, soak it in water for a few days before use.

Sehr zu Empfelen
Die Garnelen und Schnecken sind erstmal beschäftigt bzw. es wird sehr gut abgenommen. Würde es wieder kaufen, klare Kaufempfehlung. Nur der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach etwas zu hoch aber was tut man nicht alles
Really a very nice piece of Vuka wood. Great hiding spot for small shrimp. It can be planted with moss very nicely and is happily grazed by my shrimp. (read more)

Sehr schön anzuschauen
Wirklich ein sehr schönes Stück Vukaholz. Tolle Versteckmöglichkeit für kleine Garnelen. Lässt sich sehr schön mit Moos bepflanzen und wird gerne abgeweidet von meinen Garnelen. Würde es sofort wieder kaufen. Dauert aber sehr lange bis es unter geht. Bei mir fast eine Woche, aber es lohnt sich.
