The Cleanator with two surfaces is ideal for cleaning aquaria. The stainless steel wool on one side removes even the most stubborn algae and residues, without scratching the glass. The sponge side softly and gently removes minor residues. It also gets into the tightest of corners thanks to its ergonomic shape.

A real aquarium hack. Easy on the glass and silicone but a powerful algae remover. Cleaning the glass is much easier than a regular sponge. Great purchase.
I've tested quite a few things. Among them a blade scraper, glove and also a stainless steel pad. One likes to make scratches in the glass, the next removes algae coatings... (read more)

Mein Favorit für gewölbte Scheibe!
Getestet habe ich schon einiges. Darunter Klingenschaber, Handschuh und auch Edelstahlpad. Das Eine macht gern Kratzer ins Glas, das Nächste entfernt Algenbeläge unvollständig und Letzteres funktionierte ganz gut, war aber einfach zu mini für ein 190 Liter Becken.
Dieser Schwamm von Dennerle hat mich echt überrascht.
Er liegt gut in der Hand und selbst mit der weichen Seite einmal über das Glas gewischt ist alles gründlich entfernt. Bin jetzt viel schneller durch mit dem Reinigen der Scheibe. Sicherlich kommt es auch auf den Belag/die Algenart an . Doch für den Härtefall gibt es ja noch die Rückseite mit Edelstahlfasern. Ein Herauslösen dieser konnte ich bisher nicht feststellen.
Und hier noch die Abmaße:
L ca. 10cm, B ca. 7cm/4,5cm, H ca.3cm
Mein Fazit: >geht gründlich, kratzerfrei & schnell
