Hygrophila corymbosa "Thailand"
- Very bushy growth
- Reddish stem
- Undemanding
Emersed-grown plants of the genus Hygrophila can occasionally develop small, firm tissue growths ("pustules") on the upper and lower sides of their leaves. These are completely harmless and are not caused by pests or disease. These bumps will no longer appear on newly sprouted submersed leaves.

Description
This plant is traded as Hygrophila sp. "Thailand. It certainly belongs to Hygrophila corymbosa and is probably identical with H. corymbosa "Siamensis 53B". This stem plant features a reddish stem, quite narrow, light green leaves and an upright, very bushy growth habit in its underwater form.
As with many other Hygrophila forms, this plant has no special requirements. However it benefits much from good lighting, CO2 addition and regular micro and macro nutrient supply. It is easily propagated by cuttings.
Hygrophila sp. "Thailand" looks beautiful as a group in the midground to background of aquaria.

Great portion of strong emersed shoots, existing leaves dissolved right away and were eaten by the Amano shrimp. 2 days later new leaves everywhere!
Great, this one works too!

I ordered plants online for the first time and wasn't disappointed. The plants (2 pots of Hygrophila + 3 others) were each packed very well and in very good condition. (read more)

Sehr empfehlenswert
The plants arrived in a very weakened state. They were practically just lying flat and looked a bit brownish, stem completely white. (read more)
