Description
The ISTA UFO Diffusor is a plastic CO2 Diffusor. The special ceramic membrane produces a fine mist and the CO2 gets dissolved very quickly. Perfect for small and nano tanks.
Please keep in mind that, as a rule, a working pressure of at least 1.8 bar is required for the diffuser to work properly. Sometimes, pressure regulators with a pre-fixed working pressure (1.5 bar) do not produce sufficient pressure for the diffuser. Thus it is recommendable to run the atomiser only on a pressure regulator that allows you to adjust the working pressure yourself.

Cleaning
When algae start forming on your glassware equipment or when larger and larger bubbles emerge from your ceramic diffusor it is time for cleaning. Glassware is easy to clean, however, it should be done diligently. After the cleaning process, your glassware products will be as good as new.
- You'll need a household bleach containing chlorine without perfumes. When working with chlorine bleach, please make sure you absolutely observe the manufacturer's safety notes.
- Pour some of the bleach into a container and mix with an equal amount of water. Mix so much of this solution that the glassware products you wish to clean are entirely covered
- Soak the glassware in the solution for 1 to 4 hours (depending on the severity of the stains)
- Take it out and rinse thoroughly
- Now all the stains ought to be gone, and your glassware should shine as if new

I use it with a simple bio CO2 system for my 54 l tank and it works without any problems. Very fine bubbles come out and it makes no noise. (read more)

Sehr empfehlenswert!
Ich benutze ihn mit einer einfachen Bio CO2 Anlage für mein 54l Becken und er funktioniert ohne Probleme. Es kommen sehr feine Blasen und er macht keine Geräusche.
Am Anfang war er zwischen Membran und Gehäuse undicht, aber es musst nur das Gehäuse mit einem Schlitzschraubendreher etwas nachgezogen werden.
Die Membran ist auswechselbar was ich super finde.
Klare Kaufempfehlung für kleinere Becken!

Der EINZIGE flüsterleise Diffusor
Hatte schon einige CO2 Diffusoren in Gebrauch (auch hochwertige aus Glas und die Neo-Diffusoren), aber alle haben beim nötigen Arbeitsdruck ein wirklich störendes Zischen abgegeben.
Dieser Diffusor sieht zwar bei weitem nicht so hübsch aus wie andere Modelle und die weiße Farbe zeigt Algen sehr schnell, aber dafür ist er im Betrieb absolut STILL! Das CO2 wird nach etwa 2 Tagen auch wirklich super fein zerstäubt.
Wie meine Vorredner bereits beschrieben haben, hängt er aufgrund des weichen Saugnapfs oftmals schief, aber mit etwas Gefummel bekommt man den auch fast waagrecht ;)
ON TOP: man kann die Keramikmembran für wenig Geld tauschen! Super!

Sehr feine zerstäubung, hoher Wirkungsgrad
Versand von Aquasabi war wie gewohnt perfekt.
Angegeben ist auf der Verpackung das die etwas größeren Bläschen am Rand nach ca 24h verschwinden, dauerte allerdings ca 48h.
Das Co2 wird bei ca 2Bar wirklich sehr fein zerstäubt, die effizient ist sehr hoch, die große L reicht sogar für mein 450L Becken.
Beim vorherigen Diffusor der teurer war hatte ich ca 140Blasen/m jetzt komme ich mit ca 90Blasen/m aus, der unterschied ist mehr als deutlich.
