Description
The ProClean AquaEx by JBL is a gravel cleaner and water changing set. Within an aquarium that is supplied with many plants, unattractive detritus can occur on the substrate or the ground-cover plants due to dead plant-parts. This is espeacially annoying in aquascapes, where a prestine look is often desired, but also in other aquariums the detritus can lead to problems. In combination with feed residues and other organic waste inside the aquarium, a nutrient suplus and, thus, problems with accompanying fauna or algea are possible. To prevent this effect from happening a Gravel Cleaner can be a practical tool.
For the protection of aquarium organisms, the AquaEx is supplied with a net. This way, animals and plants cant be accidently sucked into the bucket. Also, a clip stops the hose from being removed from the bucket. The AquaEx is available in different sizes, which makes it possible to find the right one for each aquarium.

ich bin kein fan davon
Ich persönlich hatte mal die Mulm Glocke gehabt und ich bin davon nicht begeistert, weil die Methode zum druck, ansaugen sehr altmodisch ist , da gib es viel besser" nano Mulm Sauger von dennerle.

Schade ums Geld und Rohstoffe
- selbst bei 50 cm Wasserstand ist die Hand im Wasser
- nach kurzer Zeit ist das eingebaute Sieb zugesetzt, habe daher mit bisheriger Mulmglocke weitergearbeitet
- aus Neugierde habe ich noch den Ansaugmechanismus getestet - könnte funktionieren. Ich habe wegen des Wellenschlages abgebrochen. Außerdem brauche ich diese Funktion nicht.
Wenn man das Sieb herausdrückt und den Ansaugmechanismus weg lässt, hat man für über 20,- € eine Mulmglocke mit Schlauch und wer es gebrauchen kann einen Absperhahn - da gibt es günstigere Varianten.
Mit Aquasabi bin ich sehr zufrieden, habe bereits auch wieder bestellt, aber dieser Artikel sollte m.E. aus dem Sortiment entfernt werden.
