Description
JBL ProScape Plant Start is a mineral granulate with live bacteria cultures to activate the soil in plant aquaria. It improves nutrient availability, promotes root formation and supports rapid plant growth. The bacteria reduce foreign germs and cyanobacteria and optimise mineral utilisation in the substrate. In addition, the bacteria mixture breaks down organic waste and turns the substrate into a biologically active filter. The granules are sprinkled onto the growing medium or the first layer of substrate and covered. Two bags of 8 g each are included for aquariums from 20 to 100 litres.

Application
In scapes: Sprinkle over the entire surface of the soil substructure before adding soil. Cover with the desired thickness of soil. Sonstige Aquarien: With growing medium: Add the culture medium and sprinkle over the surface. Cover with substrate of the desired thickness. Without culture medium: Add a third of the desired substrate and sprinkle over the surface. Cover with the remaining substrate to the desired thickness.

Setze ich bestimmt wieder ein
Ich habe erstmalig solch ein Bakterienpräparat für den Bodengrund benutzt. Eigentlich hatte ich nie Probleme mit dem Anwachsen der Pflanzen. JBL gibt aber als Effekt der Anwendung auch die Verdrängung von Cyanobakterien an. In dem neu einzurichtenden Aquarium gab es immer wieder mal mehr, mal weniger Flecken mit Blaualgen. Ich habe mir nicht so viel versprochen, aber was soll ich sagen? Nach meinem Eindruck ist bisher noch keines meiner Aquarien so gut gestartet. Das fiel mir erst so richtig in der Rückschau auf. Der Bodengrund macht einen spitzenmäßigen Eindruck (halb Soil, halb Sand) und nirgendwo ist auch nur ein Fitzelchen Blaualge zu sehen. Im Sandbereich wuchern die Cryptos wie verrückt (lokale Düngung mit Düngetabletten) und im Soil gehen die Ludwigien und das Myriophillum steil. Im ganzen Becken ist nur wenig Mulm zu sehen. Ich werde definitiv wieder bei Bedarf zu dem Produkt greifen.

Nach dem ich mich in You Tube informiert hatte, brauchte ich es
In kürze kommt Wasser ins Becken das Hardscape ist fertig deshalb habe ich auch Plant Start benutzt, damit der Start gut los geht.
