Description
The Macherey-Nagel Visocolor ECO Phosphate Water Test is a colourimetric water test for determining the phosphate content of a water sample. Phosphate is one of the most important water plant nutrients and should therefore always be present in sufficient quantities in the water. The test measures PO4-P, which can then be calculated to PO4 with the included table.
Together with phosphate ions, ammonium molybdate forms phosphorous molybdenum acid. This is reduced to molybdenum blue (reaction basis in analogy to DIN EN ISO 6878-D11).

- Sufficient for 80 tests
- Suitable for seawater: yes
- Evaluable with compact photometer PF-12

I was very surprised when I could even detect polyphosphates with this test (water has to be boiled first)!!! The JBL phosphate test can't do that!
Hats off to Macherey-Nagel!

This test is very easy to read accurately. Even with only two reagents it's much easier to handle than with other manufacturers.

PERFEKT!*****
Muss man einfach weiterempfehlen. TOP*****
Very good test,
I won't buy anything other than M&N anymore!
Handling is very easy, and you can match the values very well.
Great value for money
