Questions and answers about Oase - Depot Fertilizer Fe

You have questions about this product? Ask other customer or our support team about this product!

I already use the Oase - PlantGrow Weekly Fertiliser (WD) as well as the daily fertilizer. According to the WD label, the depot fertilizer should be added soon after the WD. According to your product description for the WD, WD and TD are enough for fertilizing plants. So which is right?

The depot fertilizer is a high-quality iron(II) complex fertilizer. This means that the iron becomes available to the plants gradually, so algae have a harder time accessing it. For this reason the fertilizer is particularly useful in the cycling phase, when the newly planted plants still have to establish themselves. Depending on personal preference, you can later use either a system fertilization with depot fertilizer plus weekly and daily fertilizer (then every 14 days) or just weekly and daily fertilizer. With the system fertilization, the prompt dose mentioned on the label, directly after the weekly fertilizer, is advisable.
