Description
The StreamMax Classic by Oase is a high-quality flow pump and is available in three pump capacities. Manifold flow patterns from narrow to wide and various angles are settable via the adapter. Divers flow intensities are achieved by means of a stepless adjustment of the water flow. Thereby realistic water movements as seen in fresh and seawater are created. Four high-grade and easy to mount suction cups ensure an optimal hold on the aquarium wall.

To get better flow in my corner aquarium, which is unfavorable in that respect, while using slow filtration, I got this pump including the magnetic mount. (read more)

Meine Empfehlung, auch für`s Süßwasser
Um bei einer langsamen Filterung eine bessere Durchströmung des diesbezüglich ungünstigen Eckaquariums zu erreichen, habe ich mir diese Pumpe incl. der Magnethalterung zugelegt. Verarbeitung und Material sind sehr gut. Die Saugnäpfe habe ich gleich durch den Magnethalter ersetzt, der die Pumpe sicher am Trigon hält. Die Strömung lässt sich durch den Schieberegler verstellen, ist aber von der Wirkung her gering. Positiv ist, dass das Strömungsbild recht breit und weich erscheint. Am Besten gefällt mir die Laufruhe der Pumpe. Kein Klackern oder Brummen. Eher ein leises Rauschen. Man muss schon genau hinhören oder schauen, ob die Pumpe läuft.
Verstecken lässt sie sich nicht so einfach auf Grund der Abmaße. Zur Wasseroberfläche und zum Bodengrund sollten laut Hersteller ca. 10 cm Abstand sein. Das Auszurichten ist problemlos. Da ich nachts weniger Strömung für die Fische möchte, habe ich die Pumpe über eine Zeitschaltung laufen. Das klappt zuverlässig, ohne Anlaufschwierigkeiten.
Fazit: Den Fischen gefällts, den Pflanzen auch. Würde ich jederzeit wieder so einrichten.
