Description
Prime is the complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and saltwater. It removes chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia. Prime converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank’s biofilter. Prime may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Prime detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. It will also detoxify any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels. Prime is non-acidic, will not impact pH and will not overactivate skimmers. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.

Usage
Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 200 L (50 US gallons) of new water. For smaller volumes, please note each cap thread is approximately 1 mL. May be added to aquarium directly, but better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume. Sulfur odor is normal. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely. To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is higher then 30 °C (86 °F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.

Benutze ich nur noch
ich hatte schon viele Wasseraufbereiter vorher benutzt, hatte aber immer Probleme Chlor und Chloramine damit zu entfernen. Beim Wasserwechsel benutze ich ein 200L Fass, gebe Prime nach Anleitung dazu, lass mit einer Pumpe das Wasser ca. eine halbe Stunde umwälzen und es ist nichts mehr nachzuweisen. Ich bin begeistert und werde nichts anderes mehr benutzen.

Seachem Prime ist sehr gut geeignet um alle Rest-Stoffe danach zu binden & Purigen wieder fit für den Filter zu machen ...
die kleine 50ml-Flasche hält locker über 1 Jahr um alle 4 Wochen ein Purigen aufzubereiten ...

Einfach der besten
Ich habe praktisch alle bekannten Wasseraufbereiter der besten Marken in meinen Aquarien getestet. Einige von ihnen sind sehr gut und sie funktionieren perfekt. Aber hinsichtlich Leistung, Qualität, Wirtschaftlichkeit, Ergebnissen und Mehrfachnutzen (auch hilfreich bei Ammoniak- oder Nitritspitzen) muss ich einfach sagen, dass Seachem PRIME derzeit ganz klar über dem Rest der Produkte in seiner Kategorie steht. Wenn Sie Zahlen machen, gibt es keinen Vergleichspunkt, es ist 5-mal rentabler als die billigsten anderen ähnlichen Produkte, aber es ist auch sehr effektiv, die Wasserqualität ist großartig, seit ich es benutze, und es gibt kein Problem darin eines meiner Aquarien. Ich verwende es in einem 450L Malawi Aquarium, in einem 126L Amazonas Aquarium, und in einem 30L Nano Dennerle mit Neocaridina-Garnelen. Und es ist ein absolutes Top-Produkt, es ist die Nummer 1 in seiner Kategorie. Eine andere Sache, die mir sehr gut gefallen hat, ist, dass ich mich mit dem Hersteller Seachem beraten habe, um zu erfahren, wie lange ich zwischen der Anwendung des PRIME-Conditioners und der Anwendung des Bakterien (Stability) warten sollte, wenn ich zum Beispiel das durchführe Wasserwechsel meiner Aquarien. Und dies ist das erste Mal, dass mir ein Hersteller von Aquarienwasseraufbereitern sagt, dass es keinen Grund gibt zu warten, PRIME kann aufgetragen werden, und dann kann ich Stability Bakterien ohne Wartezeit auftragen. Die übrigen Hersteller raten zwischen 30 Minuten bis zu einer Stunde (je nach Hersteller) zwischen dem Auftragen der Spülung und dem Auftragen der Bakterien zu warten. Für mich gibt es hier keinen Diskussionspunkt, zuerst gibt es Seachem Prime, und dann gibt es den Rest deutlich eine Stufe tiefer. Ich bleibe bei PRIME
