An aquarium cabinet isn't just there to give an aquarium a place to stand. A good base cabinet also offers space for all kinds of accessories, such as filters, CO₂ systems, hoses and more.

The most important point when buying a dedicated cabinet, however, is stability. Base cabinets carry a heavy load, and they do so permanently. Depending on its size, a well-stocked aquarium with many liters of water and stones as decoration can weigh just over 100 kg or even considerably more. Even though everything necessary can find its place inside, the cabinet still shouldn't distract from the painstakingly designed aquascape. That's why the design of most base cabinets is clean and minimalist. This also means the cabinets fit into any interior concept.

To help you find the right aquarium cabinet, we've put together a selection of sturdy and beautiful base cabinets in this section. From ADA to UNS aquariums - you can find the right base cabinet for almost every tank. Many of the cabinets are made of wood, which is sealed to prevent swelling.

The Japanese company ADA offers aquarium cabinets in no fewer than three different materials: wood, metal and glass. You can choose between the Metal Cabinet, the Wood Cabinet and the Cube Cabinet Clear. These cabinets are specially designed for ADA brand tanks. Fluval also offers a tailor-made cabinet. The Fluval Flex Cabinet has the same curved shape as the Fluval Flex tank.
For UNS brand aquariums, the German manufacturer european aquaristics offers a small but high-quality selection of cabinets. These stands come in three color versions - black, agate gray and high-gloss white. For other aquarium sizes, a selection in high-gloss white and agate gray is available.
