Description
The Aquael Ultramax is a innovative external filter which is characterised by a large water flow rate of 1.000 and up to 2.000 l/h. In addition, the device has a prefilter which absorbs any thick grime before it reaches the filter directly. In this way, the filter's cleaning cycle is prolonged.
Due to a ceramic axle and the construction of the filter rotor a quiet operation is implemented. Furthermore, the ceramic axle makes it possible to use the filter for seawater aquariums.
The Ultramax is available in 3 different performance levels. Depending on the version, they are equipped with 3, 4 or 5 filter baskets.

Scope of delivery
The Ultramax 1000 is delivered with 3 filter baskets, Ultramax 1500 with 4 and Ultramax 2000 with 5 baskets. In addition, each version is delivered with a filter casing with cover, 1 x set of filter elements (Aquael Wool Max Pro Filter Floss, BioCeraMAX, Ultramax/Maxikani Super Finish), 2 x 1,5 m connection hoses, 2 x connection pipes, 4 x suction cups, deflector, prefilter basket, connection pipe and elbow piece.

Super zufrieden
Bin echt super zufrieden mit dem Gerät. Fast nicht zu hören und super Filterleistung!
I got the Ultramax 1,500 because I was unhappy with the Oase Biomaster Thermo 850 (too loud, drew in too much air). You'd think the Aquael would have somewhat less power. (read more)

Bester Filter den ich je hatte
Ich habe mir den Ultramax 1.500 geholt, weil ich mit dem Oase Biomaster Thermo 850 unzufrieden war (zu laut, zu viel Luft gezogen).
An sich sollte man meinen, dass der Aquael etwas weniger Leistung hat. Dem ist aber nicht so.
Der Durchfluss ist höher!
Es passt zwar etwas weniger Filtermaterial herein, aber das Konzept des Innenaufbaus überzeugt mich! An den Vorfilter kommt man zur Reinigung sehr gut heran. Dass die Schlauchanschlüsse einzeln sind, ist ein Feature, das in meinen Augen jeder Filter haben sollte. Zur einfachen Wartung und Reinigung perfekt!
Und die ganzen Bewertungen und Videos, die sagen, dass der Aquael sehr leise ist, lügen nicht. Er ist wirklich nicht hörbar! Genial! Zieht auch keine Luft.
So muss ein Filter sein! Absolut zufrieden.
Nutze ihn in Kombination mit der Aquael Durchflussheizung. Beste Entscheidung, die ichvtreffen konnte.
Nutze ihn in meinem 120P (270 Liter Becken).
Nutze auch schon viele Jahre den JBL Cristal Profi 902e, mit dem ich auch zufrieden bin. Aber der Aquael ist nochmal um einiges besser.

I installed the filter and I hear almost nothing. Once the filter has been running for a few months, it should actually run even quieter thanks to the biofilm that has formed.

Sehr Leise
Habe den Filter eingebaut ,und ich höre fast nichts. Wenn der Filter paar Monate im Einsatz ist, müsste er eigentlich durch den entstandenen Biofilm noch leiser laufen.
