Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 250 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 04 was put together for a harmonious, richly colored layout in large tanks. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Anubias barteri var. nana, Echinodorus 'Rainers Kitty', Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green", Hygrophila corymbosa, Limnophila sessiliflora and Echinodorus 'Reni' as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The varied selection covers the foreground, midground and background and provides depth with different leaf shapes and shades of green through to reddish accents. The moss balls complete the set as living decoration and set natural, easy-care accents.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact form of the cardinal flower with small, roundish leaves and fresh green color. It forms dense, cushion-like groups and is ideally suited for the foreground. With its even growth, it brings structure and brilliance to the front half of the tank.
Anubias barteri var. nana is an extremely robust epiphyte with strong, dark green leaves. It thrives even in low light and should be attached to stones or roots. Thanks to its slow growth and longevity, it is ideal for easy-to-care-for aquariums.
Echinodorus 'Rainers Kitty' shows elegantly shaped, narrow, lanceolate leaves in reddish-brown to light green tones. It grows compactly and is well suited as a solitary plant in the midground. With an adequate nutrient supply, it forms an eye-catching rosette and provides lively color contrasts.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green" is an adaptable rosette plant with wavy, bright green leaves. It thrives even under low lighting and reliably grows together into small groups. After a short acclimatization phase, it develops into a stable, permanently beautiful background plant.
Hygrophila corymbosa is one of the classic, fast-growing stem plants for the background. Its strong, broad leaves and rapid growth make it ideal for binding nutrients and preventing algae. Regular trimming promotes bushy, dense growth.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a fine-leaved, delicate stem plant that brings lightness to the aquarium with its fern-like foliage. It grows quickly and contributes to the biological stability of the tank. With targeted trimming, it is easy to shape and thickens into beautiful, cloud-like groups.
Echinodorus 'Reni' is a richly colored sword plant with compact growth and reddish to bronze foliage. It prefers a nutrient-rich substrate and medium lighting. As an accent plant in the midground, it creates warm tones and provides a harmonious transition.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei complements the plant layout as a natural decoration. It can be placed freely in the aquarium or arranged in groups. Its velvety, round appearance creates lively contrasts to the other leaf structures. The result is a well-balanced, colorful aquascape that impresses with its natural calm and easy care.
