Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 03 is a colorful complete set for easily planting a 30-liter aquarium. The set includes Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus", Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green", Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii", Lysimachia nummularia "Aurea" and Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The plants were selected to combine different color accents and growth forms. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and add natural accents to the aquarium.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.
Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus" forms dense, light green lawn-like carpets in the foreground and spreads quickly via runners. The plant originates from South America and is perfect for initial planting, as it needs little light and thrives well even without added CO2.
Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green" is a slow-growing epiphyte with narrow, glossy leaves and slightly reddish nuances. It prefers medium lighting, grows ideally on roots or stones and brings natural depth to the midground with its dark shades of green.
Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii" is a robust and adaptable rosette plant that adds subtle hues to the aquarium with its medium green, sometimes slightly reddish leaves. It grows slowly, forms dense groups over time and is ideally suited for the midground.
Lysimachia nummularia "Aurea" glows an intense yellow-green and creates strong color contrasts in the background. It is easy to care for, prefers good lighting and also thrives in cooler aquariums.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" sets a strong red accent in the aquarium and quickly grows into bushy groups under medium lighting. It is easy to care for and ideal for visually complementing bright shades of green.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a harmoniously designed, colorful layout with high contrast between shades of green, yellow and red.
