Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 05 consists of five potted plants and three moss balls that have been carefully put together to create a colorful, balanced plant layout for small aquariums. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Schismatoglottis prietoi, Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Egeria densa and Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and contribute to biological stability. The result is a harmonious, easy-care layout with shades of green and red.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact variety of the popular cardinal flower with small, rounded leaves that forms dense cushions. It is ideal for the foreground and requires no added CO2. With its bright green leaves it sets cheerful accents in the aquarium.
Schismatoglottis prietoi thrives in medium light and is a robust, easy-to-keep rhizome plant. Its glossy, elliptical leaves bring a fresh green color to the midground.
Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" is a particularly compact-growing aquatic plant that reaches a height of only 6 to 10 cm. It forms small bushes in the midground and also looks great in nano aquariums. With an adequate nutrient supply it shows rich green leaves and creates dense structures.
Egeria densa is a classic stem plant with dense, light green leaf whorls that form a lively background in the aquarium. Its long, soft shoots grow quickly and can easily be propagated from cuttings. With regular trimming it is easy to shape and creates a harmonious, natural sense of depth in the tank.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" sets an intense red color accent and brings depth to the layout. It also thrives under medium lighting and forms bushy cushions with regular trimming. Combined with green species it creates a strong contrast.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is an easy-care, colorful planted scape with a natural character.
