Description
The Chihiros dosing pump is part of a system from Chihiros to automatically supply freshwater aquariums with sufficient nutrients.
A good supply of nutrients is necessary for all aquatic plants in an aquarium to thrive vigorously and healthily.
For this reason, an automatic dosing pump is the ideal tool to ensure a constant supply.
For optimal control of the fertilisation quantity, the dosing pump can be controlled with the Chihiros APP.
Daily fertilisation can be carried out per head in doses of 0,2 ml up to 999,9 ml in 0,1 ml steps.
Here, 0,2 ml is the smallest adjustable dose to dispense fertiliser.
The settings of the device are optionally secured with a battery (CR2032 button battery/not included) even in the event of a power failure.
There is also the function "Compensation of missed doses". With this, in the event of a power failure, missed cans for one day (from 0:00 hrs) are subsequently completely supplied. Another function is the setting "Supplement Volume Monitor", which displays the consumption and the remaining days. (This function only becomes effective when the button battery is inserted).
Das kleine System, nur 17,7 x 5,4 x 4,2 cm groß, lässt sich problemlos an einer ebenen Fläche in Beckennähe anbringen.
With the Chihiros dosing pump, up to four different fertilisers can be added to the pool.
Four Chihiros dosing bottles, a matching metal holder and a practical acrylic holder incl. dosing hose are included in the delivery.
Replacement dosing head for dosing pump are also available as replacement parts.
The set is also available as a set with Aqua Rebell fertiliser.

Note
To position the hoses in the dosing head correctly, the manufacturer recommends pulling and massaging them vigorously before using the pump. This ensures that the pump starts immediately after switching on.

Fehlkonstruktion der Flaschen
Ihm Internet gibt es häufig Kritik, dass die Flüssigkeiten in den Schläuchen Stück für Stück zurück laufen. Natürlich tun die das. Da wird dann empfohlen die Schläuche zu massieren und in der Pumpe die Schläuche neu zu verlegen. Aber das offensichtliche bemerkt wohl niemand. Die Flaschen sind Luftdicht. Mit jedem mal was die Pumpe pumpt, erhöht sich der Unterdruck in der Flasche und saugt die Flüssigkeiten aus dem Schlauch zurück. Ich hatte genau dieses Problem auch, bis ich mir die Flaschen genauer angeschaut habe. Das kann so nicht funktionieren. Hab dann ein winziges Loch mit einer heißen Nadel in den Deckel gestochen und siehe da, nun funktioniert es. Ich weiß nicht, wer sowas entwickelt, nicht an sowas simples denkt, selbst nicht bei der Weiterentwicklung.
