Description
The Chihiros LED System CII is a modern LED light in a very attractive design, which has been designed especially for lighting nano aquariums. In combination with the Chihiros LED System CII Base (separatly available) it will turn into the optimal luminaire for Wabi Kusa bowls. The luminosity of the CII is exactly suitable for tank sizes from 20 to a maximum of 40 cm. The lamp is attached directly to the aquarium with a supplied mount. A silicone coating on the internal screws and the bracket safely protects the glass from damage and scratches. The lower part of the lamp arm can be twisted 360° round its axis in the aquarium mount, and the lamp body can also be swiveled by about 300° in the horizontal direction to the lamp arm. This flexibility proves to be a plus point for the experienced aquascaper not at the latest during the regular maintanance of his plant aquarium.
For the CII, a Bluetooth controller has been integrated directly into the cable, so that an additional device for dimming is no longer necessary. The lamp can be operated conveniently via a smartphone. The daily lighting duration, the brightness as well as the timing and duration of sunrise and sunset can be programmed individually and effortlessly via "My Chihiros APP".

The Chihiro lighting units we offer are exclusively the DE models. These are supplied with the appropriate power supply unit and the corresponding Euro plug.

Intuitive control via app. Color rendering and light intensity are optimal for my 30 l cube. Thanks to the second joint, very flexible to position. (read more)

Beleuchtung für 30er Cube
Intuitive Steuerung per App. Farbwiedergabe und Beleuchtungsstärke sind für meinen 30l Cube optimal. Dank des zweiten Gelenks sehr flexibel zu platzieren. Optisch überzeugt die Lampe auf jeden Fall!
Halterung sitzt nicht bombenfest, muss sie jedoch auch nicht. Bis alles gerade angebracht ist, muss man etwas mit dem Anpressdruck der Imbusschrauben variieren.
Einziges Manko: Der erste dimmungsschritt ist meiner Meinung nach deutlich weiter als alle darauffolgenden, was beim simulierten Tagesbeginn etwas störend wirken kann. Gewöhnt man sich aber schnell dran.

The solution with two little rubber bands as holders for the height adjustment means the lamp hangs slightly slanted because of the overhanging weight. (read more)

Hängt schief, dimmen unsanft
Die Lösung mit zwei Gummiringerln als Halter für die Höhenverstellung sorgt dafür, dass die Lampe - des überhängenden Gewichtes wegen - leicht schrägt hängt. Das wird umso deutlicher, je niedriger man sie befestigt. Fummelei das einmal halbwegs gerade hinzubiegen.
Ebenso dimmt die Lampe nicht sanft genug, jeder Prozent runter ist abends im Augenwinkel merkbar zu sehen und der letzte Prozent ist so, als ob du 20% von davor zusammen nimmst, sprich von mittel-hell auf ganz aus. Das ist kein Dimmen wie man es sich erwartet. Das angebotene Softwareupdate nach Erhalt hat es nicht gebessert. Ich bleibe allerdings bei der Lampe weil die Lichtfarbe gut ist und die eingebaute Dimmsteuerung besser ist als ein Stein am Schädel..was Dimmingcontroller sonst kosten weiß man ja (etwa Juwel 120€ für HeliaLux SmartControl).
