Description
Eriocaulon sp. "Polaris" is a not yet determined species of unknown origin, however it is comparable to Eriocaulon cinereum. wet, temporarily flooded places. It develops very decorative, quite small, compact, hedgehog-like leaf rosettes.
We recommend strong lighting, rather soft water, a type of Aquasoil as substrate and good CO2 supply (about 20-30 mg/l).
With its special appearance, Eriocaulon sp. "Polaris" looks best as an accent plant in an open place of the foreground to midground.

I understand the reviews about the missing roots, it makes planting a bit difficult but I pressed them lightly into the soil and I have the feeling they're doing well after 1. (read more)

Bin gespannt
Ich verstehe die Bewertungen bezüglich der fehlenden Wurzeln, es macht ein Einpflanzen etwas schwierig aber ich habe sie leicht in den Soil gedrückt und habe das Gefühl, dass es ihnen nach 1,5 Wochen gut geht. Sie haben keine gelben Blätter entwickelt und ich bilde mir ein, dass sie schon ein wenig gewachsen sind.
Ich muss dazusagen, habe Soil, gute Co2-Versorgung, starkes Licht (60 Lumen/L) und volle Makro- und Mikroversorgung. Außerdem reines (aufgesalzenes) Osmosewasser mit KH 3 und GH 6. Ich gabe alles den Pflanzen die ich pflegen möchte angepasst.
