Description
The ISTA sponge filter is a simple system of biological and mechanical filtration for small aquariums and is particularly suitable for breeding juvenile fish and shrimps.
It is air-driven by a pump, which creates an optimal oxygen supply in the aquarium. The pump is not included in the scope of delivery.
Due to the pores and the additional notches on the sides, the filter sponge offers a large surface area, on which useful microorganisms can colonise. Therefore, not only the biological filtration is supported but also an ideal food source for shrimp is created. In addition, no shrimp or small fish can be sucked in due to the small pores in the sponge. There is no need for an extra filter guard.
The sponge filter can be attached easily to the pane with the included suction cups and is available in a single and a double version. Due to its simple set-up, the ISTA sponge filter is easy to clean.

Great for small rearing tanks or shrimp tanks or similar. You can hardly get a filter that's cheaper and less complicated.

Top Preis Leistung.
Super für kleine Aufzucht oder Garnelen Becken oder ähnliches. Günstiger und unkomplizierter kann man wohl kaum Filter.
The airlift is good quality and at the outlet you can adjust the flow direction, you can also rotate the part where the filter sponge is attached freely. (read more)

Qualitativ gut
Der Luftheber ist Qualitativ gut und am Auslauf kann man die Ausflussrichtung anpassen, man kann auch den Teil an dem der Filterschwamm befestigt ist frei drehen. Ich habe den Filter mehrfach im Einsatz und bin sehr zufrieden!
