Description
The EHEIM classic external filter is a reliable, millionfold tried and tested piece of equipment. All models perform to the highest quality standards. First class components and carefully matched features ensure perfect pump and filter performance. Additionally, you have the proverbial EHEIM quiet running, robust durability and low energy consumption.
There are 5 models for aquariums from 50 up to 1,500 litres - with various equipment. The EHEIM classic filters can be filled with filter pads and/or loose filter media. There is a long-lasting flexible silicon sealing in pumphead. The filter comes with spraybar, inlet pipe, hose and installation accessories. The delivery includes a filter mat and a filter fleece. Additional filter material for commissioning is available separately. For example the EHEIM MECH .

Warning notes:

- Do not use the device if it is not functioning properly or if it is damaged.

- Protect the power cord from heat, oil and sharp edges.
- The device should be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current of no more than 30 mA. Contact a qualified electrician if in doubt.
- Always disconnect all aquarium devices from the power supply when not in use, before installing or removing parts, and before cleaning and maintenance work.
- Protect the socket and mains plug from moisture. It is recommended to form a drip loop with the power cable to prevent water running along the cable from reaching the socket and causing a short circuit.
- The electrical data of the device must match the specifications of the power supply. You can find this information on the rating plate, the packaging or in the manual.
General notes:
- The power cable of this device cannot be replaced. If it is damaged, the device must be disposed of.
Handling notes:
- Perform a visual inspection before use to ensure that the device, power cable and plug are undamaged.
- Repairs must only be carried out by an EHEIM service centre.
- Only perform work described in the manual.
- Never make technical modifications to the device.
- Use only original spare parts and accessories for the device.

der Klassiker ... einfach & schnörkel-los ...
was soll man sagen ... ist der Klassiker unter den AQ-Filtern ...
kein großer SchnickSchnack, keine ungewollten und/oder sinnlosen Filtermaterialien beiliegend, sehr geringer Stromverbrauch, laufruhig (relativ) und sehr günstig ...
habe zwei davon (aus Überzeugung) und betreibe den Filter mit den In & Out von Oase/Eden an beiden 45p-AQ ...
einen Filter habe ich mit Seachem Matrix (1/3), dazu Sera Torfgranulat (1/3) ... Rest Filterschaum.
den 2ten statt dem Matrix mit Siporax Mini ... in beiden on top noch Seachem Purigen ...
beide Filter laufen tiptop und reinigen die 45p bestens ... mit Standzeit bis zu 3 Monaten ... ;)
Laufruhe wie gewohnt bei Eheim ... allerdings leichtes Brummen am Pumpenkopf ... habe etwas Styropor zwischen Pumpenkopf und Schrank-Decke geklemmt, jetzt ist er nicht mehr hörbar ...
wer eine 1a-Alternative zu Rucksack- oder Innen-Filter sucht ist mit dem Eheim Classic 150 bestens ausgestattet ...
kleiner Tip ... den Filter mit AQ-Wasser füllen & auch die Schläuche ... da der Classic keine Ansaughilfe hat und sonst erstmal ewig Luft durch das System pumpt ...

Läuft seit 15 Jahren
Läuft seit mindestens 15 Jahren ohne Probleme, genau wie andere EHEIM Filter, die ich besitze. Kann man nur empfehlen. Auch ohne den Filtereinsatz funktioniert er wunderbar, so kann man das Filtervolumen erhöhen.
Eheim, please keep producing this filter for as long as possible.
