Description
The EHEIM professionel 4+ combines strong performance with optimal energy efficiency, quiet operation, priming aid and a safety hose adapter. The highlight is the so-called Xtender In the event the output is reduced due to a blockage in the fine filter media, the Xtender dial can be turned to adjust the flow. The biological filtration is maintained and the service interval can be extended by a few days.
There are 3 sizes available Suitable for aquarium size 250, 350 and 600l. The models 250 and 350 are also available with an integrated heater as Thermofilter (T). In addition, the professional 350e can be electronically controlled from a PC. The filer is available with original EHEIM installation accessories.

- Caution: During maintenance, there is a risk of finger injury due to strong magnetic forces.

Sehr empfehlenswert
Der Filter ist sehr laufruhig, halt Eheim. Bei dem Filter ist alles an Filtermedien bei. Wer den Filter anders bestücken möchte, sollte es erstmal damit probieren. Der Schlauch könnte nur 50 cm länger sein, bei einem höheren Schrank und entsprechendem Becken reicht es nicht ganz, jammern auf hohem Niveau.
It's an Eheim :) So far I've never had an Eheim that gave problems, they're very quiet after a break-in period, and the suction is also very good. (read more)

Eheim halt
Es ist ein Eheim :) Bis jetzt hatte ich noch keinen Eheim der Probleme gemacht hat, sie sind sehr Leise nach einer Einlaufphase, die Ansaugung ist auch sehr gut. Ich habe allerdings anstelle den Ausgang am Filter zu begrenzen den Auslass im Aquarium mit groben Schwamm bedeckt weil er mir etwas lauter vorkommt wenn man am Filter direkt begrenzt.

EHEIM in altbewährter Qualität
Der Filter von EHEIM läuft jetzt seit zwei Wochen. Sehr sehr leise, fast unhörbar. Das Starten ist etwas abenteuerlich aber mit einem Trick funktioniert das sehr gut. Der Einlauf zum Filter muss von Anfang an mit Wasser gefüllt sein. Den Rest macht die integrierte Ansaughilfe. Sobald der Hebel geöffnet wird läuft der Filter voll. Dann erst den Filter einschalten.
Ich benutze ihn an einem Aquascape, so dass ich anderes Zubehör nutze. Es sind Edelstahl Ein und Auslauf mit Ansaugschutz von Aquasabi, damit keine Garnelen eingesaugt werden. Der Schlauch von EHEIM ist viel zu kurz. Ich benutze eh den Aquarienschlauch von ADA mit Schlauchklemmen zur sicheren Befestigung am Filter und den Edelstahlpipes.
Die vier Filterkörbe sind ab Kauf befüllt.
Mein Filteraufbau von unten nach oben:
- [ ] untere Kammer große Keramikröhrchen aus meinem alten EHEIM Filter
- [ ] zweite Kammer - EHEIM bioMech & Substrat
- [ ] dritte Kammer - EHEIM Substrat, Seachem Matrix & JBL Micromec aus dem alten Filter
- [ ] vierte Kammer ist der Vorfilter und dort bleibt die blaue Matte zum ersten zurückhalten von grobem Schmutz
Der Vorteil für mich das der Vorfilter oben sitzt und so relativ leicht gereinigt werden kann. Bei meinem Vorgänger war das immer die unterste Kammer wobei ich den Filter komplett auseinander nehmen musste.
Fazit: Ich kann ihn ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen da gerade auch für Aquascaper interessant. Das gelieferte Zubehör mag für den normalen Aquarianer ausreichen bis auf den Schlauch der echt zu kurz ist. Also Schlauchkauf mit einplanen ????
Die Anschlüsse wirken typisch EHEIM sehr wertig und geben einem ein sicheres Gefühl. Videos zum richtigen Reinigen des Filters gibt es bei Youtube mehr als genug.
Sehr leise, fast unhörbar Ersatzteile bei EHEIM auf lange Sicht immer vorrätig.
