Description
JBL ProAqua silicate test set SiO2 is a means of exactly determining and routinely controlling the silicate content in fresh water and marine tanks within a range of 0,2 - 6,0 mg/l (ppm). JBL has developed a compensational method for slightly discoloured water. When e.g. peat is added to the filter or medical treatments stain the water, you will still get precise and reliable readings.

- Identifies the cause of diatoms which grow when levels of silicic acid (silicates) increase
- Range of values: 0,1; 0,2; 0,4; 0,8; 1,2; 1,6; 2,0; 3,0 > 6,0 mg/l
- Treatment is possible with JBL Silikat Ex

- Includes syringe for simple measurement of the amount of water

Zuverlässiger und gut zu handhabender Test - sollte in jedem Testkoffer vorhanden sein.
With this test you can tell whether you have a lot or a little silicate/silicic acid in the aquarium. Nothing more. Determining the exact value isn't really possible. (read more)

Naja......
Mit dem Test kann man feststellen ob man viel oder wenig Silikat/Kieselsäure im Aquarium hat. Mehr nicht. Eine Bestimmung des genauen Wertes ist nicht wirklich möglich. Die Vergleichsfarben auf der Farbkarte sind bis auf die sehr hohen Werte grün. Die Farbe im Testglas sind aber grundsätzlich blau, selbst bei geringeren Silikatwerten ist dieser blau und nicht grün wie auf der Farbkarte. Ist also mehr ein Ratespiel.
