Description
ME Crystal Clear Resin is a synthetic adsorption medium designed to remove organic impurities from aquarium water. The filter medium binds dissolved and undissolved pollutants and can therefore contribute to stable water parameters.
The macroporous polymer removes proteins and organic nitrogen compounds particularly quickly and reliably. It also helps reduce ammonium and ammonia, contributing to consistently stable water conditions.
The filter medium is supplied in a mesh bag and can be placed directly into a suitable aquarium filter. It supports the removal of organic impurities and helps maintain permanently clear aquarium water.

Application
Rinse ME Crystal Clear Resin briefly with clean water before first use. Then place the supplied mesh bag in an area of the aquarium filter with good water flow.
Me Crystal Clear Resin - 2 × 15 g: Suitable for aquariums up to 135 litres.
Me Crystal Clear Resin - 100 g: Suitable for aquariums up to 450 litres.

This is basically the same as Purigen, it even smells the same. Still, it doesn't work as well as Purigen. Because: both contain 100 grams. (read more)

hm, wie Purigen nur schlechter
Das ist im Grunde genommen das gleiche wie Purigen, riecht auch genauso. Funktioniert dennoch nicht so gut wie Purigen.
Weil: In beiden sind 100 Gramm. Das me Resin ist aber feiner, dadurch ist viel mehr Volumen im Beutel. Der Beutel ist auch viel dicker. Weil es so fein ist, muss der Beutel auch feiner sein, als der vom Purigen. Das alles hat in meinen Augen zur Folge, dass das me Resin gar nicht richtig vom Wasser durchströmt wird, sondern nur umströmt. Das sieht man auch daran, dass es sich nur oberflächlich auf der Strömung zugewandten Seite verfärbt. Der Effekt auf die Wasserfarbe ist beim Purigen auch mehr.
Und zumal das me Resin preislich nicht wirklich viel günstiger ist, bleibe ich beim Purigen. Zudem stößt mir auf, dass gesagt wird, dass das me Resin ein Einwegprodukt ist, auf der Tüte aber was von „Aufbereitung“ steht. Aber nirgends eine Info dazu zu finden ist.
