Description
A sufficient oxygen content in the aquarium water is important because the aquarium inhabitants need it to live. Plants produce oxygen during the day, but at night without light, plants also consume it. As this can lead to a critical lack of oxygen in the aquarium water, it is important to aerate the aquarium with an air pump, especially at night. The Tetra AirSilent air pumps have been specially developed for aquariums in living rooms and bedrooms, so particular attention has been paid to quiet running. This quietness is roughly equivalent to the sound of whispering and is possible due to the piezoelectric effect. This effect also ensures very low energy consumption. Due to its small size, the air pump is easy to hide. The practical suction cup for attaching to the aquarium reduces the transmission of vibrations. The Tetra AirSilent air pumps are suitable for aquarium sizes from 10 to 40 litres.

- Never open the housing of the AirSilent Airpump or the power supply unit.
- Do not make any modifications to the AirSilent Airpump, the power supply, or the connection cable.
- Immediately disconnect the power supply from the mains if housing parts or the connection cable are damaged.
- The AirSilent Airpump is not repairable. Dispose of the device if housing parts or the connection cable are damaged.
Handling notes:
- Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation.
- Arrange the connection cable so that no one can trip over it.
- Risk of fatal electric shock if the AirSilent Airpump comes into contact with water.
- Never immerse the AirSilent Airpump or the power supply in water.

Small, light pump, you hear the air bubbles rather than the pump itself. Noise-wise it would be absolutely fine for me even in the bedroom.

Flüsterleise
Kleine, leichte Pumpe, man hört die Luftblasen eher als die Pumpe selbst. Wäre für mich auch im Schlafzimmer lautstärke-technisch absolut fein.
I can't share the first review. Maybe the device was defective. I've now bought the third pump, precisely because it's so quiet. (read more)

Sehr leise, man hört: nichts
Ich kann die erste Bewertung nicht teilen. Womöglich war das Gerät defekt. Habe jetzt die dritte Pumpe gekauft, eben weil sie so leise ist. Auch nach längerer Laufzeit hört man nichts, absolut nichts. Der Saugnapf ist praktisch und vor allem hält er. Ein Schlauch und Sprudelstein ist auch dabei, was will man mehr. Kein Vergleich zu den Membranpumpen, die es gab, als ich mit der Aquaristik mal angefangen habe. Die hat man noch ein Zimmer weiter gehört :-)
I'm slightly shocked at how loudly this pump hums... it isn't touching anything, everything is connected correctly ...with or without tubing it hums very loudly ...

Super laut
Also ich bin leicht geschockt wie laut diese Pumpe brummt... liegt nirgens auf, alles ist korrekt angeschlossen ...ob mit oder ohne Schlauch sie brummt sehr laut ...
