Description
This substrate functions as a long-term nutrient reservoir and supports lush, healthy growth of aquatic plants. It is a natural concentrate made from clay and peat, used in combination with gravel when setting up the aquarium substrate. The clay and peat gradually release nutrients to the plant roots while simultaneously binding excess nutrients from the water within the substrate. These nutrients then become available to the plants through root uptake.

I'm very satisfied with the Tropica Growth Substrate, it's used with gravel in both 350 l and 35 l tanks. Growth and substrate flow-through are great in this combination. (read more)

überzeugt und wird wiederholt eingesetzt
Ich bin mit dem Tropica Growth Substrate sehr zufrieden, sowohl in 350l als auch in 35l kommt es mit Kies zum Einsatz mit dem. Wachstum und Bodendurchflutung sind in der Kombination top. Gleiches Becken, vergleichbare Bedingungen (Licht/ Düngung) ohne das Growth Substrate war ein absoluter Fehler. Bsp. Blyxa japonica und Rotala indica Bonsai wuchs vorher toll und buschig, jetzt ohne den Bodengrund Kümmerwuchs und geht teilweise ein.
