DOOA SOL Stand G
Flexible and effective lighting for aquarium plants

Every aquarium plant has very specific requirements - whether you grow it above or below water, plants need the right light for healthy growth. In their emersed form, many aquarium plants can even grow in the sunlight that comes through the window, but in a room without natural light or underwater they definitely need lighting. In this issue we show many different ways to cultivate plants in the DOOA Neo Glass Air with the help of the SOL Stand G.

The slim lighting unit of the SOL Stand G can be adjusted in height very easily and can thus be adapted to different aquarium sizes and the needs of the plants. This allows plants to be cultivated effectively both above and below water. A CO2 system is installed on the aquarium shown below, and the lighting sits close above the tank. Here in the tank we see the sun-loving Riccia, which is actively photosynthesizing and diligently producing oxygen.

If you use tall Neo Glass Air aquariums, slide the lighting upward to light the tanks evenly. You can place two 15 cm wide tanks side by side under one light.

Cryptocorynes can also be kept very well emersed. Here you can adjust the light intensity well by sliding the lighting unit up or down accordingly. You can create the high humidity needed with the cover pane Neo Glass Air Cover.

The following aqua-terrarium was designed in a long Neo Glass Air. The lighting unit sits at a greater distance above the tank, so you have plenty of design possibilities in terms of height here.

Touch switch

The SOL Stand G can be switched on and off with a touch switch on the underside of the lighting unit. Please do not switch the light on and off using the magnetic plug, as this could lead to a malfunction.
