Description
This is a natural river gravel which does not raise the hardness of the water. By mixing different sizes based on your aquarium, you can make the layout look more natural. The smallest size, S size can be also spread directly on the aquarium and used as base sand. (Usable for bottom filter)
The Aqua Gravel in size S has a grain size of about 2-5 mm.
Rinse well before use.

General notes:
- This product is the sand for the aquarium substrate for keeping and maintaining freshwater aquatic plants and tropical fish.
Handling notes:
- Please spread the sand gently when setting into the glass aquarium tank. There is a possibility of glass breakage if the sand gushes against the glass.
- Be careful when spreading the sand in an acrylic tank, as it is easily get bruised.

I was looking for a substrate gravel that looks natural and is also acceptable for corydoras without them getting hurt. Would use it again anytime.

Sehr natürlich
Ich hatte nach Bodenkies gesucht, der natürlich aussieht und auch für die Panzerwelse annehmbar ist, ohne dass sie sich verletzen. Würdeich jederzeit wieder verwenden.
Compared to the gravel from the local hardware store (store brand), I could barely notice a difference, but the one from the hardware store is significantly cheaper. (read more)

Preis nicht gerechtfertigt.
Verglichen mit dem Kies vom lokalen Baumarkt (Eigenmarke) kaum ein Unterschied zu bemerken, aber der vom Baumarkt ist bedeutend billiger.
Der Kies ist nicht schlecht, ganz im Gegenteil, nur der Preis von ADA ist hier meiner Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt.
Ansonsten aber ein gutes Produkt!

Schöner Naturkies, leider zu grob
Wollte den Kies als alleiniges Substrat für ein Pflanzenbecken verwenden. Die angegebene 2-5mm Körnung wäre dafür optimal gewesen. Doch leider war der Kies in Wirklichkeit um einiges gröber.
