The Aquarium Plant Set - 120 Liters - Colorful - Medium - No. 06 was put together especially for the varied and richly colored planting of a 120-liter aquarium. The set includes Eleocharis sp. 'Mini', Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Staurogyne repens, Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini', Limnophila sessiliflora, Hygrophila polysperma and Ludwigia palustris "Super Red". The combination of compact foreground plants, structured midground species and fast-growing background plants creates a harmonious overall picture with strong red and green tones. The mix of carpeting plants, bushy stem plants and high-contrast accent plants creates a lively underwater landscape with a natural sense of depth.

This set is aimed at people who already have some experience in the aquarium hobby. The selected plants need medium lighting, CO₂ levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2-3x/week. The plants benefit from a regular supply of nutrients and stable water parameters. The fast-growing species Limnophila sessiliflora, Hygrophila polysperma and Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" help build up the biological balance.

Eleocharis sp. 'Mini' forms a dense, low lawn in the foreground with its fine, grass-like blades and is ideal as a carpeting plant. It prefers good lighting conditions and, with an adequate nutrient supply, develops a compact, fresh green carpet. Occasional trimming keeps the stand permanently low and vigorous.

Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a particularly small epiphyte with very compact growth and dark green, firm leaves. It copes with little light, grows slowly and is ideal for attaching to roots or stones in the foreground. Its robust rhizome should not be buried in the substrate.

Staurogyne repens impresses with its compact, bushy growth and light green leaves that can form dense cushions in the midground. It responds well to good lighting and CO₂ supplementation and is easy to keep in shape by trimming.

Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini' sets color accents in the midground with its violet to brownish-red leaves. Under good lighting, it stays compact and, with regular trimming, branches into a dense, low bush. Stable nutrient levels and CO₂ are recommended for intense coloration.

Limnophila sessiliflora is a fast-growing, finely pinnate background plant that effectively absorbs excess nutrients. It is undemanding, grows reliably even under medium lighting and adds lightness to the layout with its light green foliage. With regular trimming, it can be shaped bushy and dense.

Hygrophila polysperma is one of the most robust stem plants and is ideally suited for the background. It grows very quickly, absorbs large amounts of nutrients and thus supports algae prevention during the start-up phase. Frequent trimming keeps it compact and allows it to be positioned precisely.

Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" creates a strong color contrast in the background with its intensely red, smaller leaves. It develops a strong red coloration even under medium lighting and branches well after trimming. Planted in groups, it creates a bright focal point that visually enhances the layout.
