Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 120 Liters - Colorful - Medium - No. 07 is a balanced selection for colorful and varied aquascapes. The set includes Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3", Hydrocotyle tripartita, Pogostemon helferi, Echinodorus 'Rainers Kitty', Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Limnophila sessiliflora and Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red". The combination of carpeting plants, structuring midground plants and richly colored stem plants provides depth, contrasts and a lively overall effect in the aquarium.
This set is aimed at people who already have some experience in the aquarium hobby. The selected plants need medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2-3x/week. The plants benefit from a regular supply of nutrients and stable water parameters.
Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3" is a very popular carpeting plant with creeping growth that forms dense, light green carpets. Its roundish leaves create a natural and calm look in the foreground. With sufficient lighting and CO2, the plant grows compactly and evenly.
Hydrocotyle tripartita is a small, delicate pennywort with characteristic three-part leaves. It can grow both creeping and slightly overhanging and is well suited for the foreground. Its growth is very easy to control with regular trimming.
Pogostemon helferi, also known as "Daonoi", stands out with its strongly wavy, crinkled leaves. The plant grows compactly and forms striking structures in the midground. With a good nutrient supply, it shows a fresh, light green color.
Echinodorus 'Rainers Kitty' is a small sword plant with a decorative leaf shape. It is also suitable for smaller aquariums and can be used as a solitary plant in the midground. The plant is robust and adaptable.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is characterized by light green leaves with striking pink veining. It grows very quickly and brings strong color contrasts to the aquarium. Thanks to its brisk growth, it supports biological stability.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a proven, fast-growing stem plant with fine, light green leaves. It forms dense groups in the background and offers young fish good hiding places. It is also ideally suited for the start-up phase.
Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red" provides intense red to dark red tones in the aquarium. With good lighting and an adequate CO2 supply, it shows its full color intensity. It is ideal as a colorful focal point in the background.
