Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 09 was developed especially for smaller aquariums to create a harmonious, colorful layout with easy-to-care-for species. The set includes Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Bucephalandra sp. 'Theia Green', Cryptocoryne beckettii 'Petchii', Cryptocoryne × willisii 'lucens', Rotala rotundifolia and Echinodorus 'Rainers Kitty'. The carefully coordinated selection provides structure, a variety of colors and visual depth and gives the aquarium a natural, balanced look.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a particularly small variety with very compact growth and firm, dark green leaves. It grows slowly and should be tied onto roots or stones, as the rhizome must not be planted in the substrate. Thanks to its robustness and decorative appearance, it is ideal for hardscape details in the midground.
Bucephalandra sp. 'Theia Green' is a compact rhizome plant from the island of Borneo. Depending on the light intensity, its glossy leaves show various shades of green and a slight blue sheen. It prefers medium lighting and benefits from a stable supply of CO2 and nutrients, but also continues to grow reliably without supplements.
Cryptocoryne beckettii 'Petchii' is a classic rosette plant with narrow, wavy leaves in greenish-brown tones. It grows even under low lighting and tolerates both soft and hard water. Thanks to its compact growth, it is ideally suited for the midground.
Cryptocoryne × willisii 'lucens' is characterized by its narrow, lanceolate, light green leaves. It forms dense groups and grows together into a loose carpet. This species is easy to care for, fast-growing and creates natural transitions between the foreground and midground.
Rotala rotundifolia is a popular stem plant whose leaves vary from light green to reddish depending on the light intensity. It grows quickly, forms dense bushes and brings dynamism and color to the aquarium. With regular trimming, it is easy to keep in shape.
Echinodorus 'Rainers Kitty' is a compact, red-colored sword plant with striking leaf markings. It grows upright with elliptical leaves and remains manageable even in smaller aquariums. Under good lighting, it develops intense colors and serves as a striking focal point in the midground. The result is a harmoniously composed planted layout that impresses with its variety of colors and structure and gives the aquarium a natural, lively appearance.
