The Aquarium Plant Set 30 Litre Green Medium No. 09 has been put together for planted nature aquariums and aquascapes with a fresh green appearance. The combination of carpeting species, delicate stem plants and distinctive epiphytic plants creates varied structures and a natural sense of depth in the aquarium. The set includes Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3", Hydrocotyle tripartita, Rotala rotundifolia, Bucephalandra sp. "Kedagang", Rotala sp. "Nanjenshan" and Eriocaulon sp. "Vietnam". The plants complement each other ideally in terms of growth form, leaf structure and positioning, allowing for a harmonious overall appearance.
This set is intended for aquarists who already have some experience. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilisation 2–3 times per week. The plants benefit from a regular supply of nutrients and stable water parameters.
Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3" forms a dense, low-growing carpet with small, rounded leaves and is ideal for the foreground of the aquarium. Under good conditions, the plant develops compact cushions and creates a natural transition between hardscape and midground. For consistently dense growth, it benefits from CO2 supplementation and even lighting.
Hydrocotyle tripartita is characterised by its fresh green, clover-like leaves and creeping growth. The plant can grow across an area or trail decoratively over stones and roots. With its fast growth, it brings dynamism to the layout and supports the biological stability of the aquarium.
Rotala rotundifolia is a fine-leaved stem plant with dense growth and versatile design possibilities. Under medium to strong lighting, it develops compact shoots and may take on greenish to slightly reddish tones depending on conditions. Regular trimming encourages bushy growth in the background area.
Bucephalandra sp. "Kedagang" is a slow-growing epiphytic plant with decorative dark green leaves and a slightly wavy leaf structure. It is ideal for attaching to stones or roots and brings calm contrasts to the layout. This robust plant prefers stable conditions and develops compact clusters over time.
Rotala sp. "Nanjenshan" has particularly fine shoots and creates a soft, natural structure in the midground to background. This delicate plant is especially decorative in groups and creates a lively sense of depth. With good nutrient supply, it grows densely branched and is ideal for detailed aquascapes.
Eriocaulon sp. "Vietnam" forms striking rosette-shaped leaves and creates distinctive accents in the foreground or midground. The plant prefers nutrient-rich conditions and a good CO2 supply for lasting healthy growth. Its unusual growth form creates varied contrasts between fine and compact plant structures. The result is a balanced planted 30-litre aquarium with a natural green effect, varied structures and harmonious transitions between foreground, midground and background.
