Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 03 is ideal for getting started with aquarium plant care. The set includes Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus", Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green", Bucephalandra sp. "Kedagang", Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Ludwigia "Rubin" as well as Aegagropila linnaei. All plants are matched to each other to create a harmonious overall look while ensuring a high success rate when planting. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.
Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus" is a compact, lawn-forming dwarf sword plant from Central and South America. It grows quickly, forms dense, light green carpets and spreads via runners. The plant also thrives under medium lighting and, being undemanding, is ideal for beginners.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green" is a classic, very robust variety of the popular Cryptocoryne species. It grows slowly to moderately, shows narrow, wavy leaves and thrives in almost all water conditions. Thanks to its adaptability it is ideally suited for the midground and stabilizes the layout in the long term.
Bucephalandra sp. "Kedagang" is a small-growing, particularly decorative form with dark green to brownish leaves that have a bluish shimmer. It grows slowly, prefers shady spots and can easily be attached to roots or stones. With its silvery dots and compact growth it is an elegant eye-catcher in the midground.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is a vigorous stem plant that stands out with its light to pink leaf veins. It tolerates various water parameters, needs only medium lighting and grows quickly even without added CO2. Regular trimming results in dense, bushy stands and makes it the ideal background plant.
Ludwigia "Rubin" impresses with its intense wine-red coloration, which is especially pronounced under good lighting. The plant is easy to care for, grows quickly and forms sturdy shoots with high-contrast leaves. It brings dynamism and depth of color to the background area of the aquarium.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. It acts as a natural accent in the layout and supports the biological balance. The result is a balanced, easy-care plant layout that quickly grows into a healthy, natural underwater scene.
