Description

This Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 08 was put together especially to make a harmonious and colorful layout possible with little maintenance effort. The set includes Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus", Anubias barteri var. nana, Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Hemianthus glomeratus, Limnophila sessiliflora and Echinodorus 'Rainers Kitty'. The combination of different growth forms and colors creates a lively, structured planted area that brings depth and a natural feel to the aquarium.

This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO₂, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.

Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus" is a low-growing dwarf sword plant from Central and South America. It forms light green, lanceolate leaves and, through numerous runners, quickly grows together into a dense lawn-like carpet. The species is robust, easy to care for and ideal as a carpeting plant for the foreground.

Anubias barteri var. nana is one of the best-known epiphytes and grows particularly well in low light. Its thick, dark green leaves and creeping rhizome make it extremely resistant to algae growth. It is preferably attached to roots or stones and is perfect for the midground.

Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" is a compact-growing variety of the well-known temple plant and stays low. Its short internodes produce dense bushes with rich green leaves that can turn slightly reddish under good lighting. Regular trimming makes it easy to control the shape and maintain a dense stand.

Hemianthus glomeratus is a fine, light green stem plant from Florida that is known for its fast growth and delicate structure. It forms many side branches, allowing dense plant groups to be created. With regular trimming, it stays compact and gives the background a fresh, natural depth.

Limnophila sessiliflora is a fast-growing, fine-leaved aquarium plant from Southeast Asia. It tolerates a wide variety of water parameters and grows reliably even without CO₂ supplementation. Thanks to its dense shoots, it is ideal for preventing algae and giving the aquarium a lively, green appearance.

Echinodorus 'Rainers Kitty' is a compact, small sword plant with attractive reddish-green foliage. At a height of around 15 to 25 cm, it is particularly suitable for small to medium-sized aquariums. Its strong leaves set a warm color accent and give the background a harmonious, natural finish. The result is a balanced, colorful plant set that gives both beginners and fans of harmonious aquascapes an easy-to-care-for, stable underwater biotope.
