Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Colorful - Medium - No. 03 combines high-contrast shades of green with strong red accents and different leaf shapes into a lively layout for aquariums up to 60 liters. The set includes Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, Hygrophila pinnatifida, Hydrocotyle tripartita, Rotala rotundifolia "Green", Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green", Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red" as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The selected plants allow varied structures, from ground-covering carpets to delicate stem plants in the background. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and add natural accents to the aquarium.
This set is aimed at hobbyists who already have some experience in aquarium keeping. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2 - 3x/week. The plants benefit from a regular nutrient supply and stable water parameters.
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis forms a dense green foreground lawn with its narrow, grass-like leaves. The plant grows compactly under good lighting and is ideally suited for natural meadow landscapes in the aquarium. Regular trimming promotes low and even growth.
Hygrophila pinnatifida impresses with its deeply lobed leaves and striking olive-brown to reddish coloration. The plant can be tied onto hardscape as well as cultivated directly in the substrate. Its creeping growth creates particularly natural transitions between stones and roots.
Hydrocotyle tripartita grows quickly and develops small, fresh green leaves with a characteristic cloverleaf-like shape. The plant is ideally suited for loose cushions in the midground or as overhanging growth on hardscape. With regular care it forms compact and decorative shoots.
Rotala rotundifolia "Green" brings lightness and movement to the layout with its fine, light green shoots. This fast-growing stem plant is ideal for the midground and background. Regular trimming creates a dense, bushy stand of plants.
Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green" is a slow-growing epiphyte with rich green leaves and a compact growth form. It is particularly suitable for attaching to roots or stones, where it develops decorative cushions. The robust plant copes well even with weaker lighting and is ideal for structuring the hardscape.
Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red" sets intense red color accents in the background of the aquarium. Under good conditions the plant develops strong red to dark red shoot tips and dense, bushy growth. Regular trimming ensures a compact and richly colored appearance.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. It brings additional natural structure to the layout and is also suitable as a calm green accent between the other plants. The result is a varied plant set with a harmonious combination of green and red hues for lively aquascapes.
