Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Colorful - Medium - No. 05 combines different growth forms and color nuances into a harmonious yet high-contrast layout for aquariums up to 60 liters. The set includes Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3"), Staurogyne repens, Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Schismatoglottis prietoi, Rotala rotundifolia 'Orange Juice' as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The combination of green, light green and orange plants creates vibrant contrasts and a natural sense of depth in the aquarium. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration.
This set is aimed at hobbyists who already have some experience in aquarium keeping. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2 - 3x/week. The plants benefit from a regular nutrient supply and stable water parameters.
Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3") forms a dense, fresh green carpet in the foreground of the aquarium. The plant has a creeping growth habit and branches heavily, which allows closed plant carpets to develop. For compact growth it benefits from medium to strong lighting and a good CO2 supply.
Staurogyne repens impresses with sturdy green leaves and bushy, compact growth. The plant is ideally suited for the foreground to midground and forms dense groups with regular trimming. It is robust and grows particularly compactly with a stable nutrient supply.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact variety of the popular cardinal flower with small, rounded leaves. It grows slowly to moderately and is ideal for the foreground or midground. Under good light conditions it develops particularly compact and decorative growth.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' adds extra color accents to the aquarium with its light green leaves and striking pink leaf veins. This fast-growing stem plant is particularly suitable for the midground and background. Its vigorous growth helps stabilize the biological balance in the aquarium.
Schismatoglottis prietoi is characterized by its dark green, slightly wavy leaves and compact growth. The plant is particularly suitable for shadier areas in the midground and grows comparatively slowly. It is robust and also copes well with less intense lighting.
Rotala rotundifolia 'Orange Juice' provides vibrant color accents in the background of the aquarium with its orange shoot tips. Under medium to strong lighting it develops particularly intense colors. Regular trimming promotes dense and bushy growth.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. It brings additional structure to the layout and is ideal as a natural eye-catcher. The result is a diversely planted aquarium with colorful accents and a harmonious sense of depth.
